10-year-old shot in road rage incident in NW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A 10 year old boy was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after he was shot by an angry motorist.

The shooting happened in the Antoine North Beltway area. Constable Mark Hermann confirmed the shooting was an act of road rage.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and he is expected to be okay. This is the second 10-year-old boy who was shot while riding in a vehicle in the past two days.

Authorities have not identified a suspect or vehicle description.
