Man struck after 10 shots fired outside bar in north Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are investigating a shooting that happened outside a bar in north Houston where one person was hit.

The shooting happened just before midnight at Elysian Street near Line outside the La Playita bar, police say.

Police said they do not have a motive at this point. They said there was not a fight or argument.

Details are limited at the moment, but police told ABC13 that nearly a dozen shots were fired.

The victim is in critical condition and expected to survive.
