Boy, 2, drowns in northwest Harris County pool

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's tragic news out of northwest Harris County, where a 2-year-old boy has drowned.

It happened in the Ranch Country subdivision in Rosehill. Deputies tell us an uncle and grandfather were at home with that child and three other kids, all under the age of 7.

The toddler apparently climbed over the ladder and into the pool. As of right now, there are no signs this was anything but an unfortunate accident.
