League City police give away free gun locks

LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- The League City Police Department has announced they will be giving away free gun locks starting Wednesday, June 6.

League City police said that this is an easy way to make gun owners' homes safer.

Authorities say that part of firearm education includes making a gun safe.

Gun owners can drop by the police department during regular business hours and tell the desk attendant that they need one.
