Around 12:30am, DPS along with Montgomery County Sheriff?s office, raided a game room in the Decker Pines Center.

PINEHURST, TX (KTRK) -- Two people are now in jail on charges of operating an illegal gaming room.

Deputies made the bust last night in the 32,000 block of State Highway 249 in Pinehurst.

Montgomery County authorities received tips from concerned residents and for weeks have been investigating the buisness. Overnight, officials went inside and found 82 gaming machines and nearly $20,000 in cash, plus an ATM machine.

The owner and an employee were both arrested and now face felony charges, including engaging in organized crime and money laundering.

Several customers received citations for gambling.
