Dickinson debris changes
All city contracted debris collections sites will be closed to the public.

DICKINSON, Texas (KTRK) -- Removing debris from streets and homes in Dickinson is getting a little tougher.

All city contracted debris collection sites will be closed to the public.

Due to environmental concerns, Sussan's debris collection site is only able to take debris from contractors that are pre-registered with Crowder-Gulf Disaster Recovery and Debris Management.

Vehicles used by the contractors must also be pre-certified.

Residents who are cleaning out their houses after Harvey can take their debris to Republic Services Galveston County Landfill in Santa Fe.

Contractors are still able to register online and over the phone at 1-800-992-6207.
