HOUSTON -- If you're planning a Halloween party, here's an inexpensive and easy DIY. These Halloween Bottle Treats would make decoration and you could even give them away as favors.

Materials Needed

  • Recycled bottles (4 - 6 pack with carton and tops)
  • Halloween-themed scrapbook paper, ribbon and stickers
  • Halloween candy (small enough to fit into the bottles)
  • Glue dots
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Remove any labels. If they are paper labels you can soak them in soapy water and they should come right off. If they are plastic sticker labels, use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the glue on the sticker by blowing the hot air onto the sticker, be careful, it does get hot. Once your bottles are clean and dry, place one piece of scrapbook paper around the bottle, measure to the size that you want and cut. Do this for all of the bottles. Stick the paper onto the bottle with glue dots. Finish off the design with decorative ribbon. To decorate the bottle carton, mix and match the Halloween-themed scrapbook paper, measure it to the size of the carton and stick it to the outside of the carton with glue dots or a glue gun. Decorate the front with stickers or take plain white paper and write spooky phrases. Fill the bottles with candy and put the tops back onto the bottle to seal it.
