Montrose's popular 'Funnel Tunnel' is no more.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Montrose's popular 'Funnel Tunnel' is no more.

Today volunteers began dismantling the art project on the median of Montrose Boulevard near West Gray. They unweaved the colorful wood from the steel frame and kept some for themselves as souvenirs.

The rest of the materials will be re-assembled into a new art project in New Orleans.
