How to make a clothespin holiday card wreath

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If part of your home is still missing a little holiday cheer and you don't want to spend a lot of money, it's time to get crafty. Check out this inexpensive DIY project.

What you need:

Wire hanger

Clothespins

Spray paint

Beads

Ribbon

Wire cutters

Pliers

Empty box (used to spray paint clothespins)

Instructions:

Spray several coats of paint on clothespins (allow to dry for a few minutes between coats)

Make sure to paint the sides & bottoms of pins

Cut the hook off the wire hanger and shape into a circle

Slide beads and clothespins onto the wire hanger, alternate the beads & pins until the wreath is almost full

Twist the ends of the wire around each other to close the circle

Tie pretty ribbon over the area where the ends of wire meet and loop it to make a hanger
