Farmer serenades his cattle with a trombone

FLINT HILLS, KS (KTRK) -- A Kansas farmer has gone viral for the way he calls his cows home.

Derek Klingenberg posted a video on his YouTube page showing him playing the song "Royals" by New Zealand pop star Lorde on his trombone.

His herd, who are off screen to start, hear the song and start moving in for a cattle concert. If you listen closely, you'll even hear the cattle mooing along and responding to the notes.

The talented rancher says he frequently plays the trombone for his cattle to calm them, making it easier to round them up at the end of the day.

He also throws in treats to keep the livestock happy.
