I'm always looking for activities to keep my little one occupied. In anticipation of our visit to Grandma's house for the holiday, I wanted to give her something special from my son. I let him gather some leaves from the neighborhood to make this cute Thanksgiving turkey!

What you'll need:

2 pieces of construction paper (different colors)

Crayons/Markers

Glue

Leaves

Directions:

Start by choosing one piece of paper to be the turkey and one to be the background. Cut two circles out of the piece of paper you've picked for the turkey. One circle should be big for the body and one small for the head. Glue the bottom half of the body in the center of the on the background paper. This makes it easier to add the leaves. You want to fan the leaves around the top of the body and glue them once you've mapped out your design. Glue the smaller circle to the middle of the larger circle. Add legs and eyes and a piece of one leaf for the beak.
