HISD helping families impacted by Harvey today at pop up shop

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Families impacted by Hurricane Harvey are getting a little help from HISD today.

The district is holding a pop up shop Sunday.

The event is free.

It will include new clothing, household goods, bedding, and a limited supply of furniture.

The pop up shop opens at 10 a.m. Sunday at Butler Stadium in southwest Houston.

Attendees are asked to bring their FEMA numbers in order to receive assistance.
