Two more cases of West Nile confirmed in Montgomery County

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Two more positive cases of West Nile have been confirmed in Montgomery County, health officials say.

This makes three cases so far in the county. The newest cases are in one male over the age of 70 and another male in his 30s.

"Both patients are recovering and are doing well," said, Jennifer Nichols, Spokeswoman for the Montgomery County Public Health District.

These two cases come just nine days after the first case was confirmed on July 22. That first patient is now recovering recovering.
