Ginger Zee takes the 'Skyline Plunge' at The Wit Hotel in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL -- Good Morning America's Ginger Zee took the "Skyline Plunge" for a good cause down The Wit Hotel.

Zee rappelled down the Loop hotel's signature lightning bolt around 7:15 a.m. Monday.

The Skyline Plunge helps raise money for the Respiratory Health Association, a local organization on a mission to "promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education."
