Forgetful thief caught on camera forgetting where he parked

ABILENE, Texas (KTRK) -- Police must have been a little amused when they watched surveillance video of man who stole some tools, but then couldn't find his car.

What the thief doesn't have is a good memory.

He made it outside, but was far from making his getaway because he forgot where he parked. Officers produced a video, complete with soundtrack, including the theme from the Pink Panther.

The thief finally found his vehicle and got away.
