Local chef among participants in major food event in Bayou City

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Celebrity chefs, food trucks, beverage creators and plenty of local talent are headed to Downtown Houston this weekend.

The Texas Restaurant Association 'Marketplace' convention highlights some of the most diverse parts of the food industry and brings them all together in one place for professionals and those who just like food.

Local Chef Kevin Naderi of the new restaurant 'Lillo & Ella' came by to talk a food, fusion and what it takes to be a 'foodie' in Houston.
