PINELLAS PARK, Florida (KTRK) -- A Chick-fil-A in Florida became the scene of an animal rights protest.

This happened while customers were trying to enjoy their free food on "Cow Appreciation Day."

Protesters went into the restaurant dressed up as cows and chickens, covered in fake blood. One person even took a huge knife.

Employees and managers demanded the protesters leave. They left before police arrived.
