Firefighters battling large house fire in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- SkyEye is over the scene of a home engulfed in flames on Ilex Street, near Griggs Road and the Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston.

Multiple crews could be seen battling the flames as thick smoke billowed into the air around noon Thursday.
