Makeup artist's tips to get ready in a hurry
These tips to quick application will help get you ready in a stoplight minute.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- All girls have had days where they are in a rush getting out of the house and don't have time to do makeup.

One makeup artist's tips to quick application will help get you ready in a stoplight minute.

"Women need makeup that's quick, that's easy," said Bobbi Brown director of artistry Rogelio Reyna.

Her steps only include five sticks and no brushes, powders or shadows to make your makeup routine portable without a mess. She suggests using a foundation sick for a mess-free application.

All you have to do is draw the stick on your face under your eyes and spot conceal.

"What's great about a stick foundation is most have a powder built-in, so you don't need to apply powder to set it," Reyna said.

She says to always apply lipstick because a simple pop of color can instantly create a polished look. Look for dual use products and art sticks because they're long lasting.

If you have a few more seconds, then do your eyes.

"Eyes should always be last," Reyna said.

She suggests using a shadow stick instead of traditional eye shadow because no brush is required.

"Eyeliner is such a key step. I'm doing little dashes. You don't have to be perfect. Keep it close to the lash line, and if you mess up, take your finger and smudge it to give a soft look," Reyna said.

The look is complete after you apply mascara.

"Look for a cream-based mascara that will really give you the volume and a mascara that you can reapply throughout the day," Reyna said.
