When Nashville resident Kelsey Cocklin found out she was expecting, she decided to share the news with her husband Jordan in a clever manner.

"The night I found out, Jordan was at a concert. I knew he would be gone for several hours, so after a few hours of sitting in complete shock myself, I called a close friend for advice on how I should break the news. She mentioned using craft beer somehow because it's one of Jordan's favorite things. I just added some labels to a few bottles in the fridge, and the rest is history!" Kelsey wrote in an email to ABC.

Kelsey says she and Jordan had discussed wanting kids, but didn't know how her husband would react when hearing the news.

"I knew Jordan would be just as shocked and surprised by the news as I was! We had talked about wanting kids, so I knew that it would ultimately be something he was excited about, even if our timing wasn't exactly the way we would have planned," Kelsey told ABC.

"I didn't know what to expect when he opened the fridge, but I knew he would be shocked, and I knew I wanted to capture the moment on video! My hands were still shaking from finding out the news a few hours ago myself, but I'm so glad I was able to get his reaction on camera!"

When Jordan notices the beers in the refrigerator, he seems less than enthused. "What is this, daddy's beer?" Jordan wonders, before exhaling a seemingly defeated "oh."

Jordan says though that his awkward reaction was out of shock, not disappointment.

"My initial feeling, as seen in the video, was pure shock. It was just so unexpected, and it all just hit me at once," Jordan told ABC. "I thought I was getting a special beer, and I got a lot more when I opened the fridge."

But the expecting dad says that his excitement grew after the initial shock wore off.

"After the video stopped, I stayed in shock for a few minutes," Jordan told ABC. "Eventually, I snapped out of it, and was beside myself with excitement. As time progressed, we continued to get more and more excited. We cannot wait to meet the new addition to our family in September!"

The couple has an expected due date of September 30, 2015. Watch the hilarious video above.
