THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Despite all the present-day technology with computer and video games, television and movies, sometimes the best form of entertainment is a an open sidewalk and a piece of colored chalk.

That's why The Woodlands, in conjunction with the first Fall Concert in the Park series at Northshore Park, hosted the Family Fun Challenge and the fourth Family Sidewalk Chalk Competition on Sunday evening at the park.

Over 40 kids aged 16 and under were provided pieces of chalk in order to create their own masterpieces before having them judged during an intermission.

Along with the drawing, approximately 250 attendees listened to Led Zeppelin Tribute Band, Black Dog free of charge, according to representatives from The Woodlands Township.
