Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez, the parking lot security guard often featured throughout the show's run, broke the Guinness World Record for the Most Christmas Sweaters Worn Simultaneously -- forever slipping into his place in history.

Guinness official Phillip Robertson said it was a brand new category for the Guinness Book of World Records, so there was no existing record. Robertson said Guillermo would only have to break the benchmark, set by the officials, at 25 sweaters.

While that number may seem unimpressively easy to beat, the result was pretty hilarious.

"I feel like sausage," said Guillermo only 17 sweaters in.

Walking out onto the stage before donning the final sweater that would become the world record, Guillermo looked swollen and his arms pulled stiff.

If you try to attempt to beat this record yourself, Guinness did have some rules for the contest:

All sweaters must be commercially available.
The sweaters cannot be adjusted in any way.
All sweaters must be pulled down below the waist.
Allowed only one assistant to put them on.
