NEW YORK -- Dana Carvey surprised audiences Saturday after he returned to SNL to send up two GOP presidential hopefuls as the Church Lady.
Carvey took us to church as he cracked jokes about Ted Cruz's decision to drop out of the race for the Republican nomination for president.

Later in the sketch, Cruz, portrayed by by Taran Killam, denounces his religious faith.
Carvey also lampooned New York real estate tycoon Donald Trump, played by Darrell Hammond. Hammond's Trump shared the 'Church Chat' couch with characterizations of wife Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka, and a third model chosen to look pretty for the interview.
