VIDEO: Adorable boy shows off his roping skills

DECATUR, TX (KTRK) -- Little Braxton Hindman is a Texan through and through! Video of the 3-year-old from Decatur, Texas, showing off roping tricks on a dummy dog is going viral online.

Since it was first posted last week by his mom on Facebook, the post has more than 13 million views and been shared more than 184,000 times.

In the video, little Braxton runs down his rope, grabs the dummy dog by its belly and takes it down, roping up three legs and triumphantly raising his arms when the trick is done. The boy even has his hat salute down!

Braxton's mom, Kelly Watson Hindman, wrote to Eyewitness News, "We have known that there has been something special about him since the get-go! He draws a crowd everywhere we go! He's very entertaining and loves to make people laugh and smile! He's a pretty incredible little guy! In January of 2015 (18 months old), he was very ill and I truly believe roping is one thing that helped motivate him to get up and moving and get well!! He went against all odds and survived a terrible case of bacterial meningitis!! He has a ton of followers from this time in our lives!! My husband and I believe that God obviously is using him to bring light into this world! A lot of people call him a little miracle man!"
