HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Days after Hurricane Harvey left devastating damage to the Houston area, Trae Tha Truth has started a GoFundMe account to help those in need.

On social media, Trae Tha Truth posted several videos of him headed to provide relief to flood victims.

"Port Arthur, Beaumont, we on the way to you," he posted on Instagram. "Me and @Thebeastufc coming to help rescue and get supplies to those in need. We are one."

Currently, the GoFundMe account has raised nearly $80,000 towards the $250,000 goal.

Trae Tha Truth's organization, Angel By Nature, is also accepting clothing, food, baby items, pet food and other supplies.

Trae Tha Truth is among the many local celebrities contributing to Harvey relief efforts. Texans superstar J.J. Watt has raised over $15 million in donations to aid victims.
