Texas country musician Kevin Fowler prepares for Humble rodeo

HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- For several years, Texas country music fans have filled the Humble Civic Center to sing along to songs like "Hard Man to Love" and "How Country Are Ya?" with local favorite, Kevin Fowler at the Humble Rodeo and BBQ Cook-off.

Fowler is set to hit the stage again this year on Saturday, Feb. 7 and will bring along a few songs off his new record set to be released later this year.

"I love coming to Humble," Fowler said in a phone interview. "It's a no-brainer; the fans and the energy they bring each year to the Humble Rodeo are the reason I keep coming back. It's a family atmosphere. The audience ranges anywhere from eight to 80 years old; even the grandmothers have a great time."
