NEW YORK -- If you've ever wanted a replica of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber signed by Mark Hamill, you can bid on it Friday. Sotheby's is hosting its first ever auction completely dedicated to Star Wars.

There are more than 600 original action figures up for bid online. The collection includes a Luke Skywalker with double-telescoping lightsaber, Darth Vader helmets and limited edition toys.

The auction house joined forces with Japanese designer, music producer and creative entrepreneur NIGO for the auction. The items are from NIGO's private collection, which was started in the 1990s.

The bidding begins online at 10 a.m. ET on Dec. 11.
