Fictional presidency in "House of Cards" releases ominous trailer

An ominous, dark trailer for the hit Netflix series "House of Cards" was released on the day President Donald Trump took office.

The fictional president Frank Underwood took to Twitter around the time Trump was speaking to the American people for the first time as President.

In a single tweet that read "And the butchery begins".

The trailer starts with a close-up shot of an American flag, only to reveal the flag hanging upside down to slowly reveal the Capitol building behind it.

The new season will be released on May 30, 2017.
