HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We all know Daphne Oz as The Chew's connoisseur of healthy living, and her new cookbook, 'The Happy Cook,' helps busy chefs conquer the kitchen and feel good about what they're cooking.

'It's full of all the recipes that get me through my week -- the ones that are my fast breakfasts on the go with the kids, the office lunches, the weeknight dinners," she explains. "All the recipes you love to eat made a little healthier!"

We caught up with Oz at Williams-Sonoma in Highland Village to chat about the inspiration for her book and some of her favorite recipes:
