Teenagers everywhere know that Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis has transformed from lovable dork Neville Longbottom into a hunky heartthrob. JK Rowling, though, wasn't prepared to see photographic proof. This resulted in some amusing banter on social media.

The actor posed shirtless for an upcoming issue of Attitude Magazine, a gay men's lifestyle and fashion magazine in the United Kingdom. In one of the shots, Lewis is stripping off his tank top. In the other, he's leaning on a chair and appears to only be wearing underwear.

The steamy shots were posted to Twitter, where the author was apparently taken aback to see one of her child actors exuding sexuality.

"Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close," she wrote, referencing Daniel Radcliffe's nude scene in a play on Broadway.

"Warn me next time, for God's sake," she told Lewis.

When Lewis saw Rowling's comment, he momentarily transformed back into the bashful Longbottom boy.

Just like a mother, though, Rowling had an "I just want you to be happy" moment.

Poor Rowling. Must be hard watching (the actors who played) the children you brought into this world grow up.
