Jason Bateman laments "Sexiest Man Alive" honor denied on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"

HOLLYWOOD, CA (KTRK) -- The world now knows that People magazine has named "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth the "Sexiest Man Alive" of 2014, but that knowledge utterly dashed one man's hopes of claiming the title when the announcement was made on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"Horrible Bosses 2" star Jason Bateman expressed his "disappointment" with Kimmel, saying that he'd prepared for the honor, even writing up an acceptance speech for the honor.
