Honey Boo Boo's parents calling it quits

Honey Boo Boo's parents are separating.

June Shannon and Mike Thompson better known as Mama June and Sugar Bear, say they're spending time apart to figure out their relationship.

Thompson is father to 9-year-old beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson, and is stepdad to her three older sisters.

The couple never married. But they exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony just a few months ago on their reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."
