The first elimination from season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars" was announced in Tuesday's show and the couple going home is... Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson.

Before Jake and Jenna were announced as the first to leave the show, three other couples were also told they were in jeopardy: Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy; Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev; and Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke.

Jake and Jenna knew there were in trouble after scoring a disappointing 24 out of 40 in their cha cha to the theme for "Go Diego Go!"

Still, Jake said he had a great time on the show and got to learn so much from his dance partner.

"It was so much fun," he said. "I had a blast. Learning from Jenna was the opportunity of a lifetime."

Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson are interviewed by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews after the couple's elimination from "Dancing with the Stars."
