Last minute preparations underway for Day for Night
Day for Night festival is coming to Houston this weekend.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One of Houston's most cutting-edge music festivals gets underway this weekend. Day for Night combines music and art to create a one-of-a-kind sensory experience.

Event organizers anticipate 20,000 people will make their way into the Bayou City for the event, which promises musical acts -- like Bjork and Kaskade -- and a very visual experience inside the old Barbara Jordan Post Office.

Laborers are working around the clock to transform the million and a half-square-foot venue into what's called the festival of the future.

"There's so many different environments in this space, something for everyone," Day for Night producer Omar Afra said.

The festival runs this Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 2pm both days -- the party runs until 11pm outside and stretches all the way until 2am inside.
