School stirs controversy with pledge of allegiance opt-out form
Parents say they are angry after their kid's school included a pledge of allegiance opt-out form in their back to school paperwork

A school is in hot water after it sent out a form allowing parents to opt-out their students from saying the pledge of allegiance in the morning.

The parents in Florida say they were shocked when their kids brought home the opt-out waiver.

One parent was so upset, they wrote across the paper saying it was the dumbest thing he had ever seen.

Florida law requires districts to allow students to opt out, but this was the first year it put a waiver inside the student handbook.

The school has since removed it.
