District reveals school schedule for Kingwood and Summer Creek High School students

Kingwood HS to remain closed due to storm damage.

KINGWOOD, Texas (KTRK) -- After storm damage forced Humble ISD to close Kingwood High School for the entire school year, the district announced a new schedule for students.

Once the school year begins, students at Kingwood and Summer Creek will share the same campus. To accommodate the students, Humble ISD has changed the time students will go to class.

The district said Summer Creek High School students will go to class from 7 a.m. to 11:19 a.m. Kingwood students will go to class from 12:11 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Also, students will have some short classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with longer classes on Tuesday and Thursday.

In regards to extracurricular activities, the district has also set aside times for both schools. Summer Creek will hold extracurricular activities from 1:10 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. and Kingwood will have activities from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. All times are Monday through Friday.
