Kinkaid Robotics team to compete in FTC World Championships.

Kinkaid Robotics Team "Talon Industries" will be competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) World Championships this weekend in St. Louis.

In their inaugural year, the team earned runner up for the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award in the South Super Regional Tournament in San Antonio on March 11, which qualified them to compete at the FTC World Championship. The South Super Regional represents 943 teams from 12 southern states. The award indicates that it is "given to the team that has the most innovative and creative Robot design solution."

The FTC World Championship culminates the season for the over 5,150 teams and 50,000 participants worldwide. At the FTC World Championships, there will be 128 teams who qualified from 16 countries.
