Harvey aid still rolling in
It's been almost a month since Harvey struck, but the help is still rolling in for those who were impacted in the Houston area.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- It's been almost a month since Harvey struck, but the help is still rolling in for those who were impacted in the Houston area.

The National Police Athletic League and the Garden of Dreams Foundation teamed up with the Houston Fire Department and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department to hand out supplies donated for Harvey victims.

The toiletries, baby items and other cleaning supplies were collected from donors on the east coast.

PAL wrote on Facebook that it has volunteers from several chapters from across the country in the area to coordinate relief efforts.

"We've come to understand and have seen the news about all of the opportunities for service, and we wanted to bring kids in from around the country to give back and help with community service," PAL executive director Jeff Hood told ABC13.
