PREVIEW: Houston summit takes a look at health among Latinos

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We preview the Latino Health Summit.

It brings together experts in a number of health care areas to enhance the health status of the Latino population.

Guests include Dr. Norma Olvera, director of the Latino Health Disparities Lab, and Maria Cantu-Ondarza, president of the Hispanic Health Coalition.

The event is slated for Sept. 6 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
