HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police will be out in neighborhoods all across the Houston area for National Night Out.

The event aims to build relationships between law enforcement and the communities where they work.

Here are the National Night Out events happening tonight:

  • Houston's NNO event is set from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • League City police are slated to hold NNO activities between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The outdoor event is pending weather and officials are monitoring conditions.
  • Spring ISD police are planning their NNO event at their department headquarters at 210 N. Forest Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Conroe's National Night Out is slated from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Target located near I-45 and Davis Street.
  • Gulfton National Night Out is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Burnett Bayland Park, 6000 Chimney Rock.
