HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston Texans great Andre Johnson is continuing to serve the community in the wake of Harvey.

Johnson plans to serve hot meals and give out cleaning supplies at the Fifth Ward Church of Christ on Thursday.

The distribution is set for 11 a.m.

Over the weekend, Johnson teamed up with Houston Rockets assistant coach John Lucas to serve meals to police officers under his Andre Johnson Charitable Foundation.

Johnson, who retired as the Texans' leader in almost every receiving category in the team's history, is set to become the first inductee into the franchise's Ring of Honor. A ceremony will take place during the Texans' regular season matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 19.
