Restaurant now using surge pricing (KTRK)

A well-known restaurant in London is cooking up some controversy because it uses surge pricing.

That's when the price of a meal could increase or decrease based on demand. For example, your dinner Monday night might be cheaper than that same meal on a Friday.

The owner of Bob Bob Ricard says he saw how the rest of the world functioned and decided to try it at his own business.

The move is now catching the attention of other restaurant owners in London.
