Pasadena auctioning off non-flooded cars
Pasadena will auction off more than 100 cars this weekend.

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- The City of Pasadena will hold a public auction this weekend to unload surplus vehicles.

The auction will take place on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 3124 Red Bluff Rd. More than 100 vehicles will be up for bid, including surplus vehicles from the city's fleet and other cars that have been confiscated or abandoned.

A city official confirmed that the cars up for bid were stored in an area that did not flood during Harvey.

Auction items can be previewed on Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The next day, viewing begins at 7 a.m., and the auction will begin at 9 a.m. Bidders can pay with cash, MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards.

Cars are sold as-is with no warranty.

Bidders can register on-site beginning at 7 a.m. or online.
