Gas station remains throwback to time when customer service was king

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A gas station in west Houston is keeping in line with customer service from a time gone by. The station on Memorial has served customers in much the same way since 1971.

George Varcados was born in Greece and came to the US and Houston in 1954. He opened his Shell station in 1971, building the business from the ground up with hard work, long hours and a commitment to full customer service.
