Man wanted in deadly smoke shop robbery attempt may be in Houston

Authorities are asking everyone to be on the lookout for a man they believe was involved in a deadly robbery attempt last week.

All law enforcement officers/agencies in the Houston area are keeping an eye out for Rodrigo Zuniga III. He is believed to be in the Houston area.

Last week police say he was involved in a robbery attempt the left one person dead. Two people are in custody in connection with last week's incident at the Deuces Smoke Shop in Pharr, Texas.

Alejandro Lopez, 20, on Monday was charged with aggravated robbery and murder. A 16-year-old also went before a judge and was sent to the juvenile detention center.

Zuniga is described as having black hair and brown eyes, weighing 175 pounds and standing 5'8" tall. He may be wearing glasses with thick lenses. He is considered armed and dangerous. Zuniga may be driving a black 2008 Cadillac CTS with paper plates 34VO516. Anyone with information on Zuniga is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
