Reserve deputy constable accused of shooting at tree trimmers in northwest Houston

A reserve deputy constable was arrested Friday for allegedly shooting at workers trimming trees in northwest Houston.

It happened in the 6000 block of Knotty Wood just after 3pm. Houston police say the CenterPoint contract workers were trimming trees around power lines when the reserve Harris County Precinct 6 deputy constable opened fire.

No one was hurt in the shooting. The deputy constable was arrested for deadly conduct.
