Which are the worst roads in Houston?

When the City of Houston implemented the Drainage Fee, the city promised to start fixing the worst roads first. But how? Engineers came up with an expensive van with lasers on the bumpers and computers in the cab. The van team drove every inch of Houston?s major streets most recently in 2012. The lasers measure the surface of the road and come up with a numerical value. The higher the score, the better the road. The results do show plenty of 100s -? the best. The worst is on North Shepherd, a 47.77. The average score is 81. Please bear in mind, this list was generated in 2012 and since then the City of Houston has completed several road projects that will appear on this list as not fixed. We used the most recent data available.
