This all happened just before 10pm in a parking lot on Parramatta near the North Freeway.
Harris County sheriff's deputies say the boyfriend was fighting with two men. The fight turned physical and the boyfriend was shot and killed. Authorities still don't have a motive in the case.
"His girlfriend was a witness to the shooting and she is currently being interviewed," said Sgt. Greg Pinkins with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "At this time, there is no reason to believe she was involved in that altercation."
The suspects fled the scene in a white truck and have not been caught.
