Authorities say two teens riding a bike were transported to a hospital after they hit by a car in Katy.

It happened around 3pm on Raintree Village Drive and Morton Road.

Witnesses say two teenagers were on a bicycle when a female driver hit them. They tell us the bicycle the teens were riding in flipped over in the air before landing.

Both teens were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

We spoke to a mother and daughter who said they saw the whole thing. They know the teenagers and tried to help.

"When I turned around, he was flipping in the air and he landed right there and his face was messed up right now," witness Diamond Wright said.

"He had a lash from here to here and then he had a lot of lashes on this side. Luckily, I had a white towel in her car and I wrapped him up," witness Monica Tadeny said.

"He was trying to go to sleep. He was trying to keep him up so he didn't go into a coma," Wright added.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was extremely upset, in tears.

The extent of the teens' injuries are not yet known.

Police are investigating.
