We're told the officer was in the middle of an intersection in the 4900 block of Monroe when her squad car was T-boned by another vehicle. That officer was transported to Memorial Hermann with possible broken bones.
We're told the driver of the other car was taken to the hospital, but will be fine.
At this point, we don't know who was at fault in the wreck.
The officer involved has been with HPD for five years and currently works out of southeast patrol.
